Blood Count · %
Monocytes (Mono%)
Monocyte percentage of total white cells.
What it is
Normal monocyte percentage is 2–10% of total white blood cells. Used alongside other differentials to characterise the immune profile.
Why it matters
Persistently elevated monocyte percentage (monocytosis) can be a clue to chronic inflammation or specific haematological conditions. Trends within your treatment context are more informative than single values.
